Loved this Ryan and Ryan. Could see you guys in my mind's eye having this conversation, sitting around the table with glasses of wine in hand. Favorite moment, Ryan justifying dining in this amazingly intimate restaurant in Languedoc (Robert Rodriguez) and ordering the "crudite" as a reformed vegetarian :)

LOL. It's so true. I genuinely detest most vegetables. But those garden vegetables were delectably memorable. (Though the cassoulet was the star.) We both think you would love Carcassone. If your son ever has a "King Arthur/Robin Hood/Lego Castle" phase, we *insist* you take him on a family vacation there! And we''ll join you!

Thank you! And yes, that's exactly what we were doing while recording and reminiscing about some of our favorite moments in these amazing restaurants. These culinary experiences definitely turned Ryan into a "lapsed" Vegetarian...how could they not? So glad you enjoyed it!

I was trying to remember if Chez Julien was where you took mom and I when we visited you guys in Paris. The location sounded similar but I don't think they are the same when I looked at photos of the interior of Chez Julien Do you remember that spot you took us to?

We do remember. It was our favorite Parisian restaurant that is sadly no longer there. It was beneath our apartment, called The Gourmet d'Ile! We wanted to talk about it but it's been closed for many years. Can't believe how long ago that was we were all in Paris together!

I am crying right now (out of happiness) because I was on two of your Languedoc tours and experienced those restaurants. What fun, fun memories!

Indeed! So glad you were with us. Those restaurants were amazing. We ate very well on those tours. Sadly, L'Octopus restaurant in Beziers (another one of our favorites) has since closed. But the others are still going strong! Hope to revisit them again one day.

It's crazy to think it's almost a decade ago we were in Languedoc together. So many fond memories and experiences. So happy that you were there with us for those incredible moments. We treasure them.
