Amazing artists. Three that really jumped out at me were Maria Berrio, especially her depictions of women, Catalina Estrada and her colorful bold paintings of Mexican culture and Lourdes Villagomez whose amazing illustrations are everywhere.
I love all three of those artists! It's true - María Berrío's women are *so* striking. I feel like each one of those stunning collages tells an entire story (or maybe a dream). Catalina Estrada's vivid colors and patterns are simply gorgeous. I really want one of her fans! [Here's one example: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cug4I_Ysbl0/?hl=en ] And there's something about Lourdes Villagómez's art that just brings me joy. Everything she creates (and she is staggeringly prolific in her use of different mediums and materials) is a visual feast.
