I am so happy that you chose Mamouna. Every track, brilliant. Sorely underrated Bryan Ferry album. I haven't heard the deluxe, yet. Excellent choice and a nice surprise! There's a short making of documentary about making the album.

I couldn't agree more! I always felt that it was completely underrated as well. The deluxe version is great with some great demos. I put in a link to the short documentary as well. Glad you liked it, no surprise though . . . great minds!

Glad you enjoyed it! We've literally been listening to Billy Porter (and Mamouna) every day this week.

Well, I'll keep the dinner party rolling with one of my favorite "angelic troublemakers." One of my favorite nonconformists has always been Henry David Thoreau.

Love this choice. Thoreau is another hero.

One of my favorite angelic troublemakers is the civil rights activist and legal scholar (also a brilliant poet), Pauli Murray! Truly an angelic troublemaker in the best possible way.

Pauli Murray is an absolute inspiration! She and Bayard paved the way for so many. Great choice!

Mahatma Gandhi caused the Brits a bit of trouble. Also, let's not forget the brave Suffragettes who still give certain members of the patriarchy a headache.

Great choices! Gandhi and the Suffragettes! (Sounds like the name of a punk band.) :-)

Once again, you’re killing me softly with your experiences, which I am not sharing! That’s why I want to live in Europe because you can get to these cities, towns, restaurants, pubs to explore an hour or two from whatever you’re located. Genoa- I want to go!
