Oh, to be in Athens again.

My music listening pleasure tends to be classic. When exercising I listen to old Rock & Roll. When doing housekeeping it's Mozart. My favorite for relaxing, contemplating, healing or dreaming is by far Chopin.

I've got some housekeeping to do this week, I think I'll try out the Mozart idea! And Chopin for relaxing, contemplating, healing or dreaming - could not agree more!

I'm team Chopin all the way! One of my favorites when I want to relax. Especially Chopin played by the great Martha Argerich.

Saturn!! I'm feeling this one, it's so visceral and the intimacy humiliates me.

Fra Lippo Lippi "Light & Shade" album. Even so, it's usually a long-play slow breakfast jazz so it doesn't remind me of anyone. Solfeggio frequencies for extreme ethereal calm. While walking it's Chicago, Al Stewart, Gang of 4, Todd Rundgren, Joni Mitchell, Peter Gabriel . . et, al.

That Greek liquor, does it say on the label: paragetai & emphialoneti stin kalamata? What is that?

Checking out the Fra Lippo Lippi album right now, don't know them, so thank you!

And I'm assuming that you're only listening to Chicago while you're walking in the park, on a Saturday, maybe on the . . . 4th of July?

The Greek liqueur says it was fabricated and produced in the Kalamata region.

"And I'm assuming that you're only listening to Chicago while you're walking in the park, on a Saturday, maybe on the . . . 4th of July?" Well, not necessarily that album, haha. Selections. I can read that style of Greek lettering, but have zero clue what it means.

Yes, that Rubens painting of Saturn/Kronos was absolutely *shockingly* visceral. It's normally hanging in the Prado (where I presume it will be returning soon after this exhibition closes), so you just may have to pop down to Madrid to see it once it returns! And thanks for recommending the Fra Lippo Lippi album!

I think I saw the Saturn at an exhibition in Los Angeles. I'll try to get to see it. The Fra Lippo Lippi album is one of their "perkiest" in my opinion, which is why I like it, for cleaning house. It's upbeat and god knows upbeat is needed up in my little kitchen! I hope you like it.

Totally onboard with the cod on toast AND the calamari with pesto & potato. That Orzo Pasta with Shrimp looks divine.

In addition to all of our weekly listening recommendations, my default listening is usually a combination of classical music, jazz and West African music. So for each genre, I'll pick one favorite artist (in each case perhaps the artist who I probably listen to the most):

Classical music: composer Florence Price!

Jazz: legendary pianist McCoy Tyner!

West African music: kora virtuoso Ballaké Sissoko!
